A Journal Comic & Other Doodles

So I haven't been inspired enough to do another "comic" yet, (well more like motivated rather than inspired) but somehow I found it fun to revamp old drawings. So here they are, two versions of the same.

Thanks! It's my favorite too. Probably my favorite color scheme, so I spent more time on it.

I love this thing and I look at it every time I am in Derek's room. What is it? It looks like something underwater but also organ-like. Like an aquatic heart.

Thanks! It was something I drew for relief printing a year or so ago as part of an assignment... I can't remember the exact details but he told us to draw from dreams or not think about what we were drawing, so I guess this faceless girl came out and I sortof drew around her.

In all the times I've looked at it I never figured out what it was but it DOES look like an aquatic heart. I think I'm going to call it that from now on. I've always thought of it as like a rock split open and things grew out of it and a tree grew around it, but I don't like that as nearly as much as aquatic heart. The "tree" does have a very veiny quality and the "rock" is sortof shaped like a heart.

Thank you for finally letting me know what I drew! haha

I still like the one you're talking about best (the pen drawing in Derek's room) but I just thought I'd have it on computer also.
